Mine Cable Services Corporation has two locations to serve our local customers.
Our Sparwood B.C. operation is our primary cable repair facility. It services the Elk Valley area mining operations. Our factory trained staff are capable of repairing cables up to 25kV on reels up to 120" in diameter. They not only conduct general cable splicing and jacket repairs, but also perform general cable coupler servicing and repair.
Our Edmonton, Alberta operation, also our Head Office, is our second cable repair facility as well as the main manufacturing plant.
In May 2011, MCS moved into its new 14,000 sq.ft building which better houses its corporate offices as well as a complete CNC Machine shop, welding and fabrication shop and of course a full service cable repair facility. The cable shop offers value added services to our end users such as new coupler installation or terminations on new cable.
